J’ai l’honneur de vous présenter le premier Challenge de la Fiesta Friday. Angie, du blog The Novice Gardener (en anglais), est la créatrice de la Fiesta, ce party virtuel hebdomadaire auquel je participe régulièrement…. Lorsque je lui ai proposé d’organiser à l’occasion des défis entre blogueurs, elle a tout de suite accepté… Si vous tenez un blog de cuisine et que votre anglais est assez bon pour pouvoir nous partager une recette dans la langue de Shakespeare, je vous invite à participer au premier Challenge de la Fiesta Friday… Le défi consiste à préparer et partager une recette devant contenir des herbes ET de la levure boulangère. Je vous invite à lire les détails sur l’article d’Angie qui suit (je l’ai reblogué pour vous)… La Fiesta et ses nouveaux défis sont une très belle occasion de rencontrer d’autres blogueurs et de découvrir de très beaux et inspirants blogs de cuisine. I am proud to present Fiesta Friday Challenge #1. Angie, The Novice Gardener, is the person behind the Fiesta Friday, a virtual weekly event where more and more food bloggers like to meet and party. Being a regular Fiesta participant, I think that adding some friendly challenges to the concept is a great idea. I am very pleased to be the co-host and co-judge for Challenge #1, which consists of sharing a recipe containing both herbs and yeast. If you are a food blogger and would like to participate, please read the instructions on Angie’s blog, which I reblogged for you. The Fiesta and the new challenges are a great way to meet new bloggers and discover beautiful and inspiring blogs. Good luck to all the participants!
Now, before you get all stressed out, let us remind you that this is just a friendly challenge. We’re not exactly competing, we’re mostly sharing with each other. However, for the highly motivated among you, there will be judging and winner(s) selected.
My co-host Catherine@Catherine Cuisine and I will be the judges for now. We may feel the need for additional judges in the future, and if you would like to volunteer, please let us know. As a judge, however, you will be excluded as a potential winner, even though you participate.
We are also looking for ways to sweeten the pot. There may be prize(s) given to the winner(s). If any of you would like to contribute prizes, please share them with us. (By the way, tiaras/sashes may be presented to those winners who particularly love to gloat and parade in them. We know who you are!)

Catherine, I know this was your idea, so I just wanted to thank-you for your ingenuity! You have added another spark of fun to the already awesome Fiesta Friday blog party! I have never made anything with yeast, but I am still looking forward to this challenge. I can’t wait to see what everyone comes up with! Thanks again! 😀

Thank you Julianna! It is not entirely my concept, I just suggested to add some kind of « games » or contests to the Fiesta once in a while 🙂 We will have a lot of fun! Baking with yeast is not that difficult, but people seem to be intimidated by it…. I can’t wait to see everybody’s recipes too!
